Improv Summer Drop In Series

What is this drop-in series? 

These sessions are for improvisers of all levels, you just need to have taken an Improv 101 class or have at least 6 months of Improv experience. In each drop-in session we will take a deep dive into a particular Improv skill. These sessions will involve longer scenework and more individual feedback. And, you can choose to come to one or all the workshops!

Workshop Descriptions:

Drop-in 1 - Extreme Yes-Anding:

In this drop-in class we will practicing EXTREME YES ANDING. This means stepping on stage boldly, without knowing what you or your scene partner are going to bring and then yes anding the s$*t out of the scene, hopefully surprising and delighting yourself along the way.

Drop-in 2: Emotional Rollercoaster:

In this drop-in class we will go on an Emotional Rollercoaster. WOOOOOOOO! We will practice scenework which is anchored in emotion and practice using our own emotional experiences as a springboard for better scenework.

Drop-in 3: Let's Get Physical!

In this drop-in class we will focus on physicality, object work and filling the space! We will get out of our heads and into our bodies, build a world around us on stage and even learn how to work silence into scenes!

Drop-in 4 - Relationship-Building:

In this drop-in class we will focus on the two person scene and more importantly on the relationship between the two people on stage. How do we create unique, interesting and believable relationships between characters on stage??
