Improv For Anxiety
Time & Location
About the Event
The past year has been emotionally and mentally straining for all of us. As we start to move out into the world again, we might be confronted by old fears as well as new ones. How can we emerge more safely and more fully back into shared spaces, into the company of others?
We all get anxious, nervous, afraid, awkward - and sometimes it takes too great a toll, pushing us away from life and other people. If you feel like Anxiety is playing too large a part in your life, join us for this 4-part workshop series, where we use fun and easy activities and techniques from Improv theater to explore, learn and practice ways to face Anxiety in a safe and supportive space.
Improv helps us break down creative barriers, develop trust in ourselves and others and become less self-critical and more supportive. Come enjoy a taste of this special world and see what new choices and experiences it can offer you. This workshop series is designed for anyone who wants to explore more tools for dealing with social anxiety, insecurity and avoidance in a safe and playful space.
This workshop is a collaboration between Mind Flow and Amir Atsmon, trained Drama Therapist
